LRD Ym. Jose Zachariah visits the club

19 Feb: LRD Ym. Jose Zachariah was the Chief Guest at the monthly meeting of the club held at the residence of Ym. Prasadu Varghese and Ymt. Yamuna. District Governor Ym. Er. Jayakumar, District Sectretary Ym. Prasanth Frederick, and YMC Kowdiar Secretary Ym. Jojo were the other guests. The LRD was accompanied by the first lady of the zone. All member families except three (Sanil, CD and Suresh) attended the meeting, which was hosted jointly by Prasad and Prof. CD.

Ym. Jose Zachariah's enlightening key note speech touched on the need to expand the mind and the role of groups like Y's Men's Club. DG and DS felicitated. Secretary Ym. Roy Paul presented the club report. Club President Ym. Satheesh welcomed the guests in his presidential address. Ym. Thomas Job thanked everyone. Ylgs. Ganga, Sanjana, Santwana and Ireen presented a very entertaining dance and Ym Kurien, Ym. Thomas, and Ylg. Merin Roy sang songs. Ylg. Sandra was the master of ceremony. The dinner, prepared by club menettes Yamuna, Lekha, Yamun'a mother, Ginimol, Seena and Soya, was appreciated by all. Photos soon.

Club makes RD visit a grand function

30 Jan 2012: Regional Director Ym VS Radhakrishnan was the chief guest at the club's January Meeting held at the residence of Thampy and Mamey. The RD was accompanied by RS Ym Prof. Vijayakumar, DG Ym Jayakumar, DS Ym Prasanth Frederick, DT Ym. Salu and District I Governor Ym. Ajit Babu. YMC Queens Secretary Yw. Rasya Basheer participated with her son and daughter. The Club handed over, to the RD, a donation for ten Roll Back Malaria kits. Cultural programs were presented by members, following which, everyone enjoyed a delicious feast prepared by Ymt. Mamey and team. Photos soon.

Club members pick prizes at sports meet

14 Jan 2012: Club members won several first and second prizes at the District sports meet held at Central Stadium, Trivandrum. Club congratulates all the winners and participants. Winners are Ylg. Sandra Prasad (First Prizes in Shot Put and Lemon & Spoon, and Second Prize in 50m running race), Yamuna Prasad (Second Prize in Aiming the Target), and Jenymol Roy (Second Prize in Book Balancing). 22 Jan 2012: Y's Lings Ganga, Sanjana and Santwana entertained the audience with a dance number at the New Year celebrations at YMCA jointly organised by Trivandrum YMCA and Y's Men Zone 1.
